MANCHESTER, N.H. -- Police said a taxi driver brought a woman to his Manchester apartment against her will and sexually assaulted her Friday night.Officers said the 21-year-old victim was celebrating a birthday at Club Drynk with friends, and because she was in no condition to drive, her friend paid for a cab to take her to her Concord home."The cab driver was on the way to Concord when he indicated that he did not know how to get to her address. At this point, (the victim) became nervous and a little concerned," Manchester Police Department Sgt. Kristen Taylor said. The driver, Ayad Al Dulaimi, 29, instead drove her to his own apartment on Kosciuszko Street, where he assaulted the woman "who at the time was physically helpless to resist," according to police. The alleged victim reportedly stayed the night in the apartment, police said."On Saturday morning, Al Dulaimi did bring her back home to her address in Concord," Taylor said. The Domestic/Sexual Violence Unit executed a search warrant on Al Dulaimi’s Kosciuszko Street apartment as part of the investigation.Al Dulaimi was charged with two counts of aggravated felonious sexual assault and one count of kidnapping.News9 spoke to some people who know Al Dulaimi, and they said they were shocked to learn of the charges against him.
